Somerset House Trust
We are delivering a multi-year evaluation of Somerset House Trust’s Talent Development Pathways, supporting the organisation to understand impact, strengthen learning and clearly articulate value to funders and partners.
The work spans multiple talent initiatives and reflects Somerset House Trust’s commitment to inclusive, ethical and artist-centred practice. Our focus is on understanding not just what participants do, but how programmes support progression, confidence and long-term development.
We co-designed an evaluation framework aligned to Somerset House Trust’s strategic aims and inclusive talent principles. This framework provides a shared structure while remaining flexible enough to reflect the different pathways, disciplines and lived experiences of participants.
We support participants and delivery teams to reflect on outcomes, progression and experience through interviews, workshops and reflective tools. By combining qualitative insight, participant data and reflective practice, we are building a rich picture of impact over time.
Alongside this, we are helping to build internal evaluation capability - embedding learning into programme design and decision-making so insight is not an add-on, but part of everyday practice.
Our work is brought together through clear, accessible outputs that support accountability, learning and external reporting, helping Somerset House Trust tell a confident, evidence-based story about the value of investing in creative talent.
